Leonardo's "Portrait of a Musician" - The Ambrosiana Art Gallery

The Ambrosiana Art Gallery features the portrait of Franchino Gaffurio, Milan Cathedral choirmaster, a masterpiece on wood by Leonardo da Vinci that innovates traditional portraiture with its three quarter pose.  Currently on display studies and sketches from Leonardo’s "Codex Atlanticus"

Opening hours: Tue/Sun from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (closed on Mondays). /How to get there: tram 16 or subway (Cordusio nearest station). Admission charge.
