"LAST SUPPER AND HAPPY HOUR TOUR"
After visiting Leonardo's Last Supper, the nearby Dominican Basilica of St. Maria delle Grazie with Bramante's imposing Tribune overlooking the peaceful Frog cloister, we will take our time to enjoy the not-to-be-missed Milanese happy hour ritual. A drink served with tidbits of tasty food... What could be better than a delicious platter with ham, salami. chunks of cheese, focaccia, pizza, olives, peanuts and much more? Can you imagine a better way to top off the visit of Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper than sipping a glass of wine or - why not? - something stronger while the magic of Leonardo's lively characters painted on the wall of the friars former refectory is still vivid in your mind.
From 13.10.2018 to 13.01.2019, the Cenacolo guided tour includes also the temporary exhibition "Leonardo Da Vinci - First Ideas For The Last Supper". Through a selection of 7 preparatory drawings by Leonardo da Vinci - on loan from Windsor Castle's Royal Collection - visitors will be able to achieve a better understanding of the genesis of Leonardo's Last Supper masterpiece.
ENGLISH/ITALIAN Guided tour.
Headsets for better listening are provided for groups larger than 12 participants.
Duration tour: h.1:30 (plus drinks).
